Leu Gardens Tour

and Dinner

Wednesday,  November 2nd 2016

Join us on Wednesday, November 2nd for a day trip to the Harry P Leu Gardens in Orlando, with a dinner stop at The Crooked Spoon Gastropub in Clermont on the way home.

Leu Gardens are tropical and semi-tropical gardens with almost 50 acres of landscaped grounds and lakes. There are multiple themed garden areas focused on roses, butterflies, sculptures along the three miles of meandering paved trails, shaded by 200 year old oak trees and forests of camillias. Our admission will include a 1-1/2 hour docent guided tour, plus a 30 minute tour of the Leu House.

There will be additional time afterward for personal wandering, so wear comfortable shoes and casual clothing.

Be aware the Gardens have no restaurant, but do have snack machines.

You may also carry in water or other snacks to meet your needs.

Trip Advisor review

“Instantly Calming”

This was my favorite place to visit during my week in Orlando! I tend toward quiet outdoor, activities and the gardens delivered that and much more! The drive from the hotel was a bit frantic but as I stepped out of my car and onto the grounds here a peaceful calm instantly washed over me.

A Trip Advisor review posted recently had this to say

“Great place to relax”

Went to Clermont on business. Ended up checking out this gastropub. Friendly staff. Nice variety of beers to choose from (had a flight and enjoyed all four I tried). We shared a dessert between three people and it was perfect and delicious. Enjoyed the atmosphere and would recommend it if you are looking to unwind with friends/family.
