Grand Oaks Resort & Carriage Museum

Monday, May 11, 2015

Join us for a fun and interesting trip to The Grand Oaks Resort & Carriage Museum in Weirsdale.  This 340+ acre property of scenic pastures and majestic oak trees is the ideal setting for a step back in time to enjoy the elegance and pageantry of over 160 European and American carriages, including the elaborate 1850 Armbruster Dress Chariot once owned by Emperor of Austria Franz Joseph, and his wife, Elisabeth.

This Museum uniquely offers a glimpse into the history of the relationship between man and horse and clearly defines the manner in which the horse has helped shape the history of man.
